Lithium Battery & EV Alternative Fuel Vehicles

Lithium batteries are found in cell phones, laptops, tablets and are also frequently found in devices in the workplace, such as power tools, medical equipment, tablets, our cars, and many devices that are used daily.  This class will be beneficial in learning how to reduce their potential hazards and appropriate precautions to reduce the chance of a battery fire or accident.  This guideline describes the hazards associated with Lithium-Ion batteries in e-mobility devices and hybrid/EVs.  It addresses size up, operational awareness and procedure in the ever-changing field of LI powered e-mobility devices and vehicles.
