NFPA 1001 Firefighter I - FULL Date: All day from September 4, 2024 to December 9, 2024 Location: Rhode Island Fire Academy **This class if full and no longer accepting applications** The NFPA Firefighter I course is the entry-level course where students learn the cognitive (lectures) and practical (hands-on) training they need to be safe and effective on the fire ground. In addition to the basic skills that are learned, firefighters are taught how to manage the inherent stress of the firefighter profession with lessons on healthy lifestyles and stress management.
