NFPA 1041 Fire Service Instructor - FULL

At the end of this course, students will be able to obtain certification for a Level I Fire & Emergency Services Instructor. This course introduces learners to the techniques required to deliver a course from a prepared lesson plan. Topics covered include learning environment concerns, training aids, methods of evaluation, preparation of outlines and lesson plans, and exposure to record keeping and report writing.  The program contains both lectures and hands-on skills training, by student delivery of lessons lasting 10 and 20 minutes in length.

Prerequisites:

• Have a high school diploma and be 18 years of age
• Obtain, fill out and SIGN both forms:
  • RIFA Registration Form
  • RIFA Waiver Form (from website)
• Have your Fire Chief sign the application.
• Mail or scan and email both forms to RIFA
